In, Fallen, a girl named Luce is shipped off to a school for insane children (she is not really insane and neither is anyone else in this book). She meets a guy and falls for that guy, but this guy continues to ignore her. She really wants to figure out why the guy acts so strange around her. So, she asks her friend Penn to go to the library with her so that she can find a book that a family member in the guy’s family wrote. “She took comfort in the soft occasional sound of turning pages.” They have no success because it seems as if someone else is interested in his history as well, so she walks back to her room disappointed. One day Luce and Daniel (the guy she likes) are swimming and when he comes out of the water, Luce sees something on his back and the sun makes whatever is on his back look like angel wings. She begins to dream about Daniel, “And while Luce dreamed below of the most glorious wings unfurling-the likes of which she'd never seen before-two angels in the rafters shook hands.” This is true because Luce finds out the truth of Daniel. As said later on in the book by Luce, "I'm in love with an angel.” Towards the end of the book, Daniel has to save Luce from the insane teacher. He has to save her because their teacher is about to ill her and Luce knows this because she has already killed one of Luce’s best friends, Penn.
This book allows your child to relive this book and connect with all the different characters. The angel wings in this book are essential because it leads to Luce figuring out what Daniel really is and as to why he tries to ignore her all the time. Despite, the fantasy genre, this book can help the reader to connect with the characters feelings within the book. This book offers a chance for the reader to understand the meaning of friendship because Luce and Penn are always there for each other when needed. The book would be sold in stores along with the book about Daniel’s background history. This will give the reader the chance to understand why Daniel is important to the story and how he ties in the plot. Stores that this book would mainly be sold at would be your local bookstores or any grocery shopping place that happens to sell books. Although there are many types of different books and genres out there, this book would be the main attraction because it offers exclusive items that one can buy for any child of any age.
Fallen
, is a great book despite some foul language but, is highly recommended for those who like fantasy and romance novels combined. Due to the fact that this book is recommended for people who are thirteen (or older) years of age, the foul language in can be reduced. The angel wings that are being offered will be custom fit for your child so that the wings are not too tight or too loose.
kiesten, your idea of having something for all ages is really cool! The iphone case is great idea because a lot of people have them. I think it would really sell if it was a real thing.
ReplyDeleteI think that the angel wing idea was best out of the others. The fact that the main character is in love with an angel reminds me of the book called The City of Bones. From your description, the book sounds very eerie and horror like. But the plot does seem to be interesting. If I was a fan of this book (I haven't read it yet) I would buy your product.
ReplyDeleteI like how your experence included the little one's. By adding the dress up aspect, the childern, will grow and create memoies with the costume, eventuly reading the book as they mature. I don't think that a Four year old would want to read or comprehend Fallen, right? I also love the Mug, as a coffee and tea lover, I would buy it! Great products!
