I like to read because it
allows me to experience the emotions and feelings of the characters in the
book. It allows me to escape reality for
the time being and think about another person’s life besides my own. Another reason why I enjoy reading is because
I really enjoy reading and thinking about what is about to happen next. I like how the author leaves you on edge at
the end of chapters, even though it is irritating at times. I like how the author uses foreshadowing to
give you a hint as to what is going to happen later in the book. I like reading books because they can help
you to gain knowledge of important events, such as a nonfiction book or an autobiography. Books can inspire others if based upon a true
story. Reading can help take one’s mind
off things if they are not in a good mood.
I enjoy reading because there are many different genres that can be
chosen from. I like to read because you
may believe that you do not like a certain genre, but when you actually read a
book from that genre, it may turn out that you like that genre and you wouldn’t
have known that because you never tried reading that genre before.
Great post. I think it's cool that you like foreshadowing--I think it helps sometimes to look for those clues and can help turn reading into almost a game or a puzzle you have to solve.... And if you are like me, then you get really angry when your idea of what could/should happen is "better" than what the author chose! :)
